Why I can't hate Vampire Weekend
By the standards of everything I believe in musically, I should despise Vampire Weekend. As someone who's longed for a return of aggression in rock and roll, I'm more likely to defend the Butthole Surfers than Simon and Garfunkel (hell, I don't even own Graceland). I hate Sufjan Stevens with a passion rivaled only for my hatred of Zach Braff.
