Masters of sonic ear-sludge, Cactus practically wrote the hard rock playbook that would later be followed by folks like Foghat, Fastway and Montrose. But while critics fretted and and sweated over Cactus albums, wayward youth found the Cactus sound to be catnip to our chemically-altered teenage cerebellums nonetheless.
