Drowned in Sound: Holler Wild Rose! - Our Little Hymnal
Opener 'Holler, Wild Rose!' is a microcosm of the whole album, a massive cacophony followed by periods of calm. 'Marylawn Hair' is Jeff Buckley's 'Last Goodbye' covered by Loveless period My Bloody Valentine, guitars made to sound like violins and crashing drums hitting the vocal melody like waves caressing the shore.
All radio stations play at once
Kliklak.net, Berlin, is currently featuring a sound collage consisting of most of their Myspace music players. That's not too new, the Flaming lips have done similar back in the 90s, they used 40 car radios instead to create a cacophony of themselves. Basing such idea on community site players creates a whole new and lasting experience, though.
